has a college degree in Earth and Environmental Sciences. After a few years of working in this field she decided she wanted to make a change so she packed up and moved from Michigan to Georgia where she attended the coding bootcamp at Digital Crafts. After graduating she got a job as a Software Engineer specializing in React development. Last year she was also a Teaching Assistant at another coding bootcamp here in Atlanta at Georgia Tech. She is also a speaker.

Anna Sedlar is a software developer and instructor at Big Nerd Ranch. She is a generalist and is currently working on the Android platform, building apps in Kotlin. React is her preferred web framework. Anna graduated from a coding bootcamp, DigitalCrafts, in Atlanta in 2017 with no prior exposure or experience to programming and is a champion of widening the playing field of tech to include people from all different background and experiences. She has worked as a Teaching Assistant at the Georgia Tech Coding Bootcamp and has seen dozens of bootcamp grads find success in the tech industry.
