Episode 020 – Ann Vu – has a college degree in Science with a major in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. She spent several years working for non-profits and other companies after graduating and worked her way into Product Management. She took a course at General Assembly on Product Management. Today to those of us in Atlanta know her as Mrs Product. She started product404 which is an active slack channel for people interested in product management. In addition Ann is actively involved in the product meetups here in Atlanta.

Ann was formerly a language interpreter for legal, medical, and social service assignments. In the middle of this, she was on the board of a non-profit that awarded small grants to human rights projects. Eventually she forayed into tech because she realized this was where she could make an impact on our everyday narrative.

Ann Vu

Ann Vu is a Technical Project Manager at Peloton working with an amazing team that builds music data distribution APIs. She is active in the community, currently a co-organizer for DevOpsDays ATL Conference as well as other committees within her company. She previously held positions at Equifax, Anidata, and was a co-founder of product404. She also works with a team of friends on a side project called Paratransit Pal, a web app to improve the public transit experience for the differently abled, which won 1st place and $40k in the Atlanta Civic Coding Competition. Fun fact, Ann was previously a language interpreter for over a decade.
