Episode 070 – Nerando Johnson – was a truck driver but wanted more in his life. So he taught himself how to be a web developer. He is also very active in the freeCodeCamp community where he runs the local Atlanta meetup for freeCodeCamp. Last year Nerando was on a team of primarily self-taught developers that entered the AT&T hackathon. His team ended up winning the hackathon and took home the $40,000 first place. He works as a freelance web developer. He just graduated from the FlatIron coding bootcamp.
